Ms Anderson pursued graduate studies at New York University and received an MA in music from Catholic University of America. In addition she studied graduate ceramics at Antioch Univeristy. She has exhibited widely in New York, Pennsylvania, Maryland and Virginia. She has extensive experience teaching at the adult and college level and is available to lead specialized workshops. Regarding her work she states: "The concept of pit firing has caught my fascination. That so simple a process could produce such subtleties in color and make each vessel unique spurred me on to further experimentation with this genre. The interplay of form and color suggests, paradoxically, both stability and excitement."
